A nudge is any aspect of the choice architecture that alters customer’s behavior in a predictable way without forbidding any options or significantly changing their economic consequences.For example, placing the healthy snacks in an accessible location and junk snacks in an inaccessible location in a retail store, is an simple example of nudging to drive the behavior of healthy eating habits in customers.
Nudge design is a science and requires in-depth understanding of realities, behavioral psychology and product/service value proposition.
